How it works

From first inquiry to transferred technology

A clear, four-step process designed for clients who work with us from another country and another time zone.

01.

Inquiry & NDA

You describe the technical challenge. We sign a mutual NDA and clarify goals, constraints and expected results.

02.

Research Design

We prepare a proposal with methodology, partner laboratory, milestones, timeline and a fixed budget.

03.

Experimentation

The study runs in US laboratories under our project management, with regular progress reports to your team.

04.

Technology Transfer

You receive the final report, data set, method or prototype and the documentation needed to apply it.

Our principles

Integrity.

How we work with international clients.

NDA

Every project starts under a mutual non-disclosure agreement.

Scientist in protective goggles

Confidentiality first

Every engagement starts under a mutual non-disclosure agreement. Samples, data and know-how are shared only with the people who work on your project.

Scientific integrity

Studies follow documented protocols and recognized methods. We report what the data shows — including negative results that save you time and money.

Results you own

Ownership of results, data and developed technology is agreed in writing before work starts, so you know exactly what is transferred to you.

Transparent reporting

Fixed milestones, clear budgets and regular progress reports. You always know what stage the research is at and what comes next.

FAQ

Questions overseas clients ask us

Can't find the answer? Write to [email protected] and a project manager will reply within one business day.

Who are your typical clients?

Companies, start-ups and research organizations located outside the United States that need applied research, laboratory testing or a new technology developed with access to American scientific infrastructure.

What is the difference between "Overseas Scientific" and "Technology"?

Overseas Scientific is the research itself — studies we perform for foreign clients. Technology is the outcome of that research: a developed process, method or prototype handed over to the client.

Who owns the results of the research?

Ownership of data, inventions and developed technology is defined in the project agreement before work begins. In most contract R&D projects the results are transferred to the client.

How long does a typical project take?

Laboratory analysis may take a few weeks; full R&D programs with prototype development usually run from three to twelve months. The timeline is fixed in the proposal.

Do you provide legal advice on patents or contracts?

No. We provide scientific and technical support. Patent filings and agreements are prepared together with licensed patent attorneys and legal counsel chosen by or agreed with the client.

How do I start?

Send a short description of your task through the form below. We reply within one business day to arrange an introductory call and, if needed, an NDA.
